MEDFORD NEW TEXTBOOK WORKSHOP

Through the efforts of the Southern Oregon Study
Group and our Portland Branch, the special August 6
workshop and demonstration with Sogetsu Master
Instructor Kawana Sensei was a fantastic success.
The enthusiasm and ikebana creativity in the huge
Medford room was astounding.

Kawana Sensei has a passion for ikebana that he is
able to communicate clearly to American members. It
is apparent that he is an important force in the
worldwide rebirth taking place in Sogetsu Ikebana.
We encourage all members to take advantage of his
next workshops and demonstrations later this year in Seattle.
