Our annual Rose Show was held this year on June 10 and 11, and as usual, it was a wonderful show, with an interesting variety of arrangements using diverse
materials (but always the rose!).
Don Davidson and Donna Tanaka were this year’s Rose Show chairs. Thanks to them for putting this wonderful show together. Thanks also to Lois Bosland for being our liaison with the Rose Festival
Association. She ensures that our show is listed in the official Rose Festival calendars. And thanks to Peterkort Roses for our last minute donation of roses!
Those who arranged, set up, hosted, cleaned up, and helped in any way did a wonderful job! Ann Gaffke, Mary Dixon and Hideko Hearn did wonderful demonstrations. And lots of applause for Mrs. Kodachi, who inspires us all in our ikebana.

Over 2150 people attended the garden during the show weekend. People from all over the world signed our guest list. We had lots of people from Europe
and Japan, but there were also people from New Zealand, Costa Rica, Russia, Brazil, China, India, Ukraine, Argentina, and Hungary!
