Don Davidson has spent his entire working career Designing and Art Directing for the Entertainment Industry. He has designed for projects world wide, including at Theme Parks, world Fairs, Casinos and Hotels as well as major National and International Parades.

Don began studying Sogetsu Ikebana in 1972, and for the past 35 years Sogetsu Ikebana has been a major part of his life. He was drawn to the creative expression of the Sogetsu School after watching Sogestu's founder, Sofu Teshigahara create a monumental sculptural floral creation in Tokyo. Don served as President of Ikebana International in Los Angeles, as well as District Director of the California Garden Clubs, and has actively promoted the art of Sogetsu while giving programs and demonstrations of Sogetsu Ikebana. In February, 2007 he did demonstrations in Southern California at the Center for Japanese Studies at UCLA.

He was a founding member of Sogetsu's Keila Study Group at San Fernando Valley Branch in California, and is now honored to serve as Director of the Portland branch of Sogetsu.
